Summary: Spanner & Log does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. All your vehicles, service logs, and build lists stay on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email, phone number, or any account identifier (the app has no accounts)
- Your location
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Crash logs or usage analytics
- Any personal information whatsoever
Photos
If you attach photos to a vehicle profile or service log entry, the app reads the selected image from your device storage. Photos are saved to the app's local database only and are never uploaded anywhere.
Vehicle Catalog
The make/model catalog and factory specifications are bundled with the app. Browsing the catalog does not contact any external server.
Data Stored On-Device
- Vehicles you have added (make, model, year, notes, photos)
- Service log entries (date, mileage, work performed, cost)
- Build and modification lists
- Maintenance reminders
- App settings and preferences
You can delete any data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling Spanner & Log removes everything.
Children's Privacy
Spanner & Log is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
