Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ShellPad ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ShellPad is a mobile SSH and Telnet client application that allows you to connect to remote servers. The App facilitates network connections but does not host, operate, or control any remote servers you connect to.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for any servers you connect to and any commands you execute.
  • You must have proper authorization to access any remote system you connect to via the App.
  • You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and connection profiles.

4. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the App is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of ShellPad be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to systems resulting from your use of the App.

6. Telnet Warning

Telnet transmits all data, including passwords, in unencrypted plaintext. We strongly recommend using SSH instead of Telnet for any connection involving sensitive information.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. Google's advertising services are subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
