Summary: Provisions does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. All your recipes, pantry stock, and meal plans stay on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email, phone number, or any account identifier (the app has no accounts)
- Your location
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Crash logs or usage analytics
- Any personal information whatsoever
Internet Access
Provisions uses an internet connection solely to fetch recipe content when you paste a URL into the recipe importer. The app retrieves the public webpage you request and extracts ingredients and instructions locally. No data about you or your recipes is sent to our servers.
The built-in Discover tab loads recipe previews from a bundled dataset; it does not contact external servers.
Notifications
If you enable meal-plan reminders, those notifications are scheduled locally on your device by Android. We do not use a remote push notification service.
Data Stored On-Device
- Recipes you have created or imported (ingredients, instructions, notes)
- Pantry stock items (fridge, freezer, pantry)
- Meal plan entries
- App settings and preferences
You can delete any data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling Provisions removes everything.
Children's Privacy
Provisions is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
