Terms of Service

Last updated: April 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PingMap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PingMap is a visual traceroute and latency mapping tool for Android. It traces network paths between your device and target hosts, displaying hop-by-hop latency data and real-time ping graphs.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the hosts and networks you probe using the App.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and network policies when performing traceroutes and ping tests.
  • You agree not to use the App for network abuse, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized network reconnaissance.
  • Some networks or hosts may block ICMP traffic; this is expected behavior.

4. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the App is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of PingMap be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to systems resulting from your use of the App.

6. Network Probes

PingMap sends ICMP and/or UDP packets to trace network paths. These probes are standard diagnostic tools, but some network administrators may consider unsolicited probes unwelcome. Use responsibly and only on networks where you have permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. Google's advertising services are subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
