Summary: GalileoSharp does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All image processing happens entirely on your device. No accounts, no internet connection required, no data leaves your phone.

1. Data We Collect

Data stored locally on your device:

  • App preferences: Your chosen algorithm settings and display preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage.
  • Processed images: Sharpened images are saved to your device's Downloads folder at your explicit request. We do not access or copy any images you did not ask to save.

Data we do NOT collect:

  • We do not collect or transmit any images, photos, or visual data.
  • We do not collect usage statistics, analytics, or telemetry.
  • We do not require an account or any personal information.
  • We do not access the internet — the app works fully offline.
  • We do not track your activity, location, or device identifiers.

2. Third-Party Services

GalileoSharp does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services, or crash reporting tools. No data is shared with any third party.

3. Permissions

  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to open images from your gallery or file system for processing. Images are read locally only.
  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below): Required to save processed images to your Downloads folder on older Android versions.

No permission is used for any purpose beyond the stated function above.

4. Data Security

Because GalileoSharp operates entirely offline and stores no user data beyond local preferences, there is no data transmission risk. Your photos never leave your device.

5. Data Retention

All app data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes all stored preferences. Images you saved to Downloads remain in your Downloads folder unless you delete them manually.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is transmitted, you have full control over everything the App stores. Uninstalling the App removes all app preferences.
