Terms of Service

Last updated: April 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using APIBench ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

APIBench is a mobile REST API client that allows you to build, test, and debug API requests from your Android device. The App sends HTTP requests directly from your device to the servers you specify.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the API endpoints you connect to and the requests you send.
  • You must have proper authorization to access any API or service you interact with via the App.
  • You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including unauthorized API access or abuse.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and authentication tokens.

4. No Warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the App is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of APIBench be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to systems resulting from your use of the App.

6. API Traffic

All API requests are sent directly from your device to the target server. The App does not proxy, log, or inspect your traffic on any remote server. You are responsible for understanding the security implications of sending requests over HTTP vs HTTPS.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. Google's advertising services are subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
